As a Van Delivery Boy, you will be responsible for safely delivering packages to customers' addresses using a company-assigned delivery van. You will ensure timely, accurate, and secure deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.
Load parcels/packages into the delivery van as per assigned route.
Deliver products to customers' homes or offices in a timely manner.
Handle COD (Cash on Delivery) payments where applicable.
Get proof of delivery through digital signature or photo confirmation.
Maintain communication with the delivery hub and follow instructions.
Ensure safe and careful handling of packages.
Report any issues such as delivery failures, vehicle problems, or customer complaints.
Keep the van clean and in good working condition.
Education: Minimum 10th pass (varies by employer).
License: Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license.
Experience: Previous delivery experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Age Limit: Usually 18–40 years.
Basic knowledge of routes and navigation using GPS.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle cash safely.
Physically fit to load/unload packages.
Punctual and responsible attitude.
