Position Title: Picker / Packer (Warehouse / Logistics)
Picking products from racks or shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
Packing items safely and securely for dispatch: using appropriate packaging material to prevent damage.
Labeling packages correctly and grouping them in the designated dispatch area.
Scanning barcodes / using handheld devices to keep inventory records accurate.
Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and following safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
Sometimes helping with loading/unloading, moving products within the warehouse.
Educational qualification: Often 10th pass (in some places even “below 10th”) or similar basic qualification.
Physical fitness: ability to stand, walk, bend, lift items (sometimes up to certain weight limits).
Basic reading and counting ability to understand order lists, labels etc.
Sometimes experience is preferred but many job postings accept freshers.
Age limits vary (often 18-40 years in some locations).
Full-time employment.
Shift timings may be day shift, night shift, or rotational shifts.
Usually 6 days a week, with one day off.
Some roles offer overtime pay or incentives based on performance.
