Job Description

  1. Charging & Billing Operations:

    • Oversee all charging and billing activities within the zone.

    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of invoices and bills for customers.

  2. Financial Reconciliation:

    • Monitor collections and reconcile discrepancies in payments or billing.

    • Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance standards.

  3. Team Management:

    • Supervise zonal billing staff and customer service teams.

    • Conduct training, performance reviews, and allocate responsibilities.

  4. Process Optimization:

    • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in billing and charging processes.

    • Implement improvements to reduce errors and improve turnaround time.

  5. Customer Issue Resolution:

    • Address escalated billing complaints or disputes from customers.

    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely resolution.

  6. Reporting & Analytics:

    • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on revenue collection, outstanding dues, and billing accuracy.

    • Analyze trends and provide recommendations to senior management.
