Job Description

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement national and regional sales strategies to achieve business goals.

  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Identify emerging markets and expansion opportunities.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor Regional Sales Managers, Zonal Heads, and Distribution Managers.

  • Set performance metrics, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team productivity.

3. Channel Management

  • Strengthen relationships with channel partners, retailers, and distributors.

  • Optimize sales channel structures (offline retail, online, B2B).

  • Ensure smooth inventory flow, product availability, and pricing consistency.

4. Revenue & Performance

  • Drive revenue growth through effective pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies.

  • Track key sales KPIs: volume, revenue, market share, conversion ratio, etc.

  • Work with finance to manage budgets, targets, and profitability.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams for new product launches.

  • Provide sales feedback to product development and demand planning teams.

  • Represent the sales function in leadership and strategic meetings.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer behavior.

  • Identify risks, new opportunities, and suggest corrective measures proactively.
