As a Van Delivery Boy, you will be responsible for delivering packages and products from Flipkart’s warehouses or fulfillment centers to customers’ addresses. You will be expected to ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Timely Delivery:
Safely deliver products to customers at their doorstep within the committed delivery window.
Ensure that the delivery is made on time and follow the route efficiently.
Adhere to traffic rules and safety guidelines while driving.
Loading and Unloading:
Load packages onto the delivery vehicle as per the schedule.
Ensure all items are secured and handled properly during transport.
Unload deliveries at customers' locations in a safe and efficient manner.
Customer Interaction:
Be the face of Flipkart during customer deliveries and interact with them in a professional, polite, and friendly manner.
Address any customer queries or concerns regarding the product or delivery.
Obtain signatures or other confirmation of delivery where necessary.
Package Management:
Keep track of all the packages assigned to you and ensure none are misplaced or damaged during the delivery process.
Verify customer orders to ensure accurate delivery.
Handle any return items or exchange products as per Flipkart’s policies.
Documentation & Reporting:
Ensure all necessary paperwork (e.g., invoices, receipts) is completed and signed by the customer.
Report any issues, damages, or delays to the supervisor or customer support team immediately.
Maintain daily logs of deliveries and fuel consumption.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Ensure that the delivery vehicle is in good condition and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to company safety policies and local traffic laws.
Handle the delivery vehicle in a responsible manner and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
Base Salary: A fixed monthly salary is provided, typically based on experience and the region you are working in. Some locations offer higher salaries based on demand.
