Business Strategy & Planning
Define and execute the business plan for the state.
Set sales, revenue, and merchant acquisition targets for regions/cities.
Identify growth opportunities and develop new channels.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive adoption of Paytm products (QR, POS, Soundbox, Wallet, UPI, Ads, Insurance, etc.).
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategy accordingly.
Ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Team Leadership & Management
Manage a large team of Area Managers, City Heads, Sales Managers, and Executives.
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales/operations team.
Drive productivity and accountability through regular reviews.
Market Expansion & Merchant Relations
Expand Paytmโs presence across districts and cities within the state.
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
Solve merchant issues quickly and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
Ensure smooth onboarding, deployment, and usage of Paytm services.
Monitor KPIs (merchant activation, revenue per merchant, transactions).
Conduct market visits and audits to ensure execution quality.
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with central teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance).
Coordinate campaigns, promotions, and new launches in the state.
