Job Description

  • Maintain, improve and own the installation, deployment and release pipelines for the AppScan product (including “AppScan 360” cloud-native deployments) Design and implement deployment automation: containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift), virtual machine provisioning, configuration management, infrastructure as code (IaC)

  • Develop robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) linked with container registries and cloud environments Automate installation and deployment scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and manage both Windows and Linux target environments Troubleshoot complex installation/deployment issues focusing on scalability, networking, multi-environment consistency and release hygiene Collaborate closely with product, engineering and quality teams to ensure releases align with product features, security practices and enterprise usage scenarios.

Benefits

  1. Financial & Compensation

    • Competitive base salary (reflecting senior DevOps/product engineering level).

    • Performance‐/bonus incentives tied to product release milestones, quality metrics, and DevOps efficiency.

    • Retention/long‐service bonuses (common in product development teams).

    • Provident Fund (PF) & gratuity as per statutory norms.

    • Possibly stock / equity options if the product group offers them.

  2. Health & Wellness

    • Comprehensive medical insurance covering employee and dependents (spouse/children/parents).

    • Life & accidental insurance.

    • Preventive health check‐ups, sometimes wellness/fitness reimbursements.

    • Mental health support programmes or employee assistance (especially since DevOps/product roles can be high‐pressure).

  3. Learning, Growth & Technical Exposure

    • Sponsorship/allowance for certifications (e.g., cloud, containers, security, DevSecOps) given the product + security context.

    • Access to internal learning platforms and technical workshops (product teams often emphasise skill advancement).

    • Cross‐team exposure: development, DevOps, security, product management — helping career growth.

    • Chance to work on cutting‐edge technologies (containers/Kubernetes, cloud, security scanning) which is a benefit in itself for your CV.

  4. Work‐Life Balance & Flexibility

    • Hybrid work (office/home) options typical for senior roles in product companies.

    • Flexible working hours (to an extent) given the global product/DevOps context.

    • Paid time off (annual leave, sick leave, casual leave) plus parental leave benefits.

    • Often reimbursement/support for home setup (internet, workstation) for remote/hybrid working.

  5. Global & Product‐Specific Perks

    • Opportunity for global exposure: international clients, global teams, possibly onsite visits.

    • Being part of a product (like AppScan) rather than just services gives you the advantage of working on intellectual property, which often implies more stability and career leverage.

    • Recognition/incentive programmes for innovation, first‐to‐market features, quality improvements.

  6. Other Perks & Miscellaneous

    • Meal cards or cafeteria subsidies (if working from office).

    • Travel/transport allowances or cab facilities (for late shifts or office commute).

    • Employee referral programs, festival bonuses/gifts, team events.

    • Clearer career path in product engineering (Sr. DevOps → Lead DevOps / DevOps Architect) which is a “soft benefit” of the role.
