Manage antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal care, and high-risk pregnancies
Conduct normal deliveries and perform/assist in Cesarean sections
Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders (fibroids, PCOS, infections, menstrual problems)
Provide OPD consultations, ward rounds, and patient counseling
Perform gynecological and obstetric surgeries:
Hysterectomy, Myomectomy
Laparoscopy and infertility-related procedures
D&C, biopsies
Supervise OT protocols, aseptic techniques, and patient safety
Handle obstetric and gynecological emergencies
Manage complications like postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, ectopic pregnancy
Participate in night shifts, on-call duties, and emergency rotations
Supervise junior residents, interns, and nurses
Conduct teaching sessions, case discussions, and clinical audits
Mentor medical staff and trainees
Maintain accurate medical records, operative notes, and discharge summaries
Coordinate with other departments (anaesthesia, neonatology, radiology)
Follow hospital protocols, ethical standards, and clinical guidelines
