Create reusable design components in tools like Figma and ensure alignment with development frameworks.
Collaborate with frontend engineers to translate visual components into functional UI elements.
Maintain a unified visual language and design standards across web and mobile platforms.
Audit products regularly to ensure adherence to the design system.
Work with multiple teams (Beauty, Fashion, Luxe) to standardize the design approach.
Partner with Product Managers, UX Researchers, and Developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
Provide design system guidance, documentation, and best practices to design and engineering teams.
Conduct design reviews and contribute to UI/UX quality assurance.
Analyze user behavior and interface usability to optimize components for accessibility and performance.
Stay updated with design system trends (Material Design, Fluent, Shopify Polaris, etc.).
Advocate for accessibility (WCAG compliance) and responsive design principles.
Mentor junior designers on UI design standards and design system usage.
Help shape the DesignOps process for scalable product development.
Champion the importance of design consistency across all Nykaa products.
