Job Description

🎯 Core Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & CASA Growth

    • Drive acquisition of new Current Accounts and Savings Accounts in the assigned territory.

    • Achieve monthly & quarterly CASA targets as per bank’s retail liabilities business plan.

    • Grow CASA balances through quality sourcing and portfolio deepening.

  2. Team Management & Productivity

    • Manage, train, and motivate a team of Sales Officers / Business Development Executives.

    • Allocate targets, monitor field activities, and review performance regularly.

    • Guide team on lead generation, conversion techniques, and customer handling.

  3. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

    • Identify and source retail customers, HNIs, SMEs, traders, and professionals for CASA.

    • Cross-sell other products: Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Debit/Credit Cards, Insurance, Personal Loans.

    • Ensure high-quality customer experience during onboarding.

  4. Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure strict adherence to KYC, AML, and RBI guidelines during account opening.

    • Monitor for fraudulent activities, document discrepancies, and maintain audit readiness.

  5. Market & Competition Mapping

    • Analyze local market potential and identify opportunities for CASA growth.

    • Keep track of competitor products, rates, and sales strategies.

  6. Reporting & MIS

    • Regularly update management on team performance, CASA growth, and portfolio quality.

    • Use CRM tools and bank systems for tracking productivity.
