A picker/packer works in a warehouse or fulfillment center. Their job is to pick products from storage racks/shelves according to customer orders and then pack them properly for delivery.
Picking Orders β Collecting items from shelves/storage as per order list.
Packing Orders β Packing items securely with labels, barcodes, and invoices.
Quality Check β Making sure the right product, size, and quantity are packed.
Maintaining Inventory β Reporting stock shortages or damaged goods.
Work with Scanners/Apps β Using handheld devices to track orders.
Support Warehouse Operations β Helping with loading/unloading if needed.
Basic reading & writing (to read order slips).
Physically fit (lifting, standing for long hours).
Attention to detail (avoid wrong orders).
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Shifts (day/night depending on warehouse).
Work mostly in warehouses / distribution centers.
