Job Description

  • Production Operations

    • Carry out batch manufacturing activities as per approved SOPs and master records.

    • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot machines and equipment.

    • Maintain optimal yields, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.

  • Compliance & Documentation

    • Prepare and maintain BMRs (Batch Manufacturing Records), logbooks, and deviation reports.

    • Ensure compliance with GMP, WHO, USFDA, MHRA, or other regulatory standards.

    • Participate in audits (internal & external).

  • Team Supervision (based on level)

    • Supervise operators, technicians, and helpers during shift.

    • Train new staff on processes, equipment handling, and safety.

  • Coordination with Other Departments

    • Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) for in-process checks.

    • Collaborate with Maintenance for timely machine upkeep.

    • Coordinate with Supply Chain / Stores for raw material availability.

  • Process Improvement & Safety

    • Identify areas for productivity, cost, and quality improvements.

    • Implement Lean, Kaizen, or 5S practices where applicable.

    • Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) norms.

  • Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare daily production reports, downtime logs, and yield analysis.

    • Assist management in capacity planning and process optimization.
