Install broadband and fiber connections (FTTH) at customer premises.
Set up and configure routers, modems, switches, and network devices.
Install and test DTH (Airtel Digital TV) systems and related cabling.
Connect and secure fiber optic or copper cables properly.
Perform connectivity tests using tools like OTDR, light meters, or signal testers.
Identify faults in wiring, ports, or devices and fix them promptly.
Ensure signal strength and network performance meet Airtel quality standards.
Escalate unresolved issues to senior network teams.
Coordinate with customers for scheduling installation visits.
Explain device operation, safety instructions, and maintenance basics.
Provide technical support during and after installation.
Ensure complete customer satisfaction before closing service tickets.
Maintain detailed logs of installations, materials used, and site status.
Submit daily reports to supervisors or the Network Operation Center (NOC).
Follow Airtel’s safety and quality procedures during fieldwork.
Collaborate with backend teams, field technicians, and contractors.
Support network expansion and new equipment rollouts in assigned areas.
