Job Description

  • Lead generation & prospecting — finding potential customers through cold calls, referrals, online leads, networking.

  • Customer interaction — meeting customers (field sales), or contacting them via phone / email (inside sales). Explaining product/service features, benefits, negotiating terms.

  • Quoting & closing deals — preparing quotations, negotiating price & delivery, working to close sales in line with targets.

  • Customer relationship management — maintaining good communication, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling queries / complaints, follow-ups.

  • Market feedback & competition monitoring — understanding what competitors are doing, gathering feedback from customers about product / service, reporting to management.

  • Sales reporting & targets — keeping track of own progress vs targets (monthly, quarterly), updating CRM or similar systems, reporting metrics.

  • Coordination with other teams — operations, logistics, finance, after-sales support etc., to ensure deliveries, invoicing, customer service go smoothly.
