Handle employee grievances, complaints, and escalations
Conduct disciplinary actions, investigations, and domestic enquiries
Ensure implementation of HR policies, code of conduct, and SOPs
Support managers in conflict resolution and employee engagement
Drive initiatives to improve workplace culture and morale
Manage union interactions and collective bargaining (where applicable)
Lead wage negotiations, settlements, and agreements
Handle labor disputes, strikes, lockouts, and conciliation proceedings
Maintain peaceful industrial relations across units, plants, or hubs
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including:
Industrial Disputes Act
Factories Act / Shops & Establishments Act
Contract Labour Act
PF, ESI, Gratuity, Minimum Wages
Coordinate with labor departments, inspectors, and auditors
Maintain statutory records, registers, and filings
Advise leadership on ER/IR risks and mitigation strategies
Partner with business leaders during expansion, restructuring, or workforce changes
