Conduct site and route surveys for fiber optic cable (OFC) or broadband network deployment.
Identify suitable paths for underground/overhead fiber routes.
Capture GPS coordinates, manholes, poles, and junction box locations using survey tools.
Note physical obstructions (roads, bridges, pipelines, etc.) that affect fiber route design.
Prepare feasibility reports for proposed network routes.
Ensure Right of Way (ROW) and safety compliance for all surveyed paths.
Mark existing utilities and alternative routes in case of obstructions.
Work closely with the network design team to finalize layout maps.
Prepare and submit daily survey reports, route sketches, and measurement details.
Create AutoCAD/GIS maps based on field data.
Upload survey photos, coordinates, and route status to project management tools.
Support documentation for municipal permissions or ROW clearances.
Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and contractors.
Verify ground feasibility before fiber laying begins.
Assist in as-built documentation after completion of work.
Attend review meetings to provide updates on survey progress.
Ensure adherence to Airtel’s network design standards.
Maintain data accuracy and proper measurement practices.
Follow field safety procedures and comply with company policies.
