Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 
Collections & Recovery
 
Achieve assigned collection targets for rural branches.
 
Handle overdue accounts, visit customers, and negotiate repayment.
 
Monitor and track delinquent loans daily.
 
Agency & Field Management
 
Coordinate with debt recovery agencies and field collection staff.
 
Monitor their performance, productivity, and adherence to guidelines.
 
Ensure no frauds or misconduct in collection activities.
 
Compliance & Governance
 
Follow all RBI, company, and legal rules in collection/recovery.
 
Ensure repossession, settlement, or write-off procedures are followed as per law.
 
Maintain proper documentation and reports.
 
Customer Interaction
 
Engage with rural customers to resolve overdue issues.
 
Offer repayment options, explain consequences of non-payment, and maintain relationships.
 
Reporting & Analysis
 
Prepare MIS reports and dashboards on collections.
 
Track performance vs. targets.
 
Highlight risks, frauds, and escalations to management.
 
Skills & Competencies Required
 
Strong communication skills (preferably local language + Hindi/English).
 
Negotiation & persuasion ability.
 
Target-oriented mindset with ability to work under pressure.
 
People management (handling field agents/agencies).
 
Good computer knowledge (Excel, MIS tools).
 
Willingness to travel extensively in rural/semi-urban areas.
 
High level of integrity and compliance orientation.
