Job Description

A CMF Designer is responsible for defining the visual and tactile identity of a product through color palettes, materials, and finishes. This role ensures that products are aesthetically appealing, align with brand identity, and meet functional and manufacturing requirements. The designer collaborates with industrial designers, engineers, and marketing teams to create a cohesive and innovative product experience.

Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Color Design:
 
Develop product color palettes consistent with brand identity and market trends.
 
Evaluate color harmonies and combinations for appeal and usability.
 
 
 
2. Material Selection:
 
Identify and test materials for aesthetics, durability, functionality, and sustainability.
 
Recommend innovative materials that enhance the product’s value.
 
 
 
3. Finish Application:
 
Define finishes (matte, gloss, texture, coatings, etc.) for products.
 
Ensure finishes are manufacturable and durable for end-users.
 
 
 
4. Prototyping & Validation:
 
Create mockups and prototypes to test color, material, and finish choices.
 
Collaborate with engineers to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
