Receive and process cash deposits and withdrawals.
Handle cheque deposits, remittances, and fund transfers.
Ensure accurate recording of all transactions in the banking system.
Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers.
Assist customers with account inquiries, statement requests, and passbook updates.
Provide guidance on branch services and products.
Maintain cash balances and teller records at all times.
Reconcile cash at the start and end of the day.
Report discrepancies or errors promptly to the Branch Supervisor.
Follow KYC, AML, RBI regulations, and internal banking policies.
Ensure security of cash and sensitive customer information.
Assist in internal audits and compliance checks when required.
Support branch operations, including cheque clearing, cash management, and administrative tasks.
Coordinate with other staff for smooth workflow and customer service
Monthly salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 (entry-level, varies by bank and city)
