The Branch Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the bank branch. The role involves handling back-end processes, customer support, documentation, compliance, and assisting the Branch Manager in ensuring that the branch operates efficiently and adheres to regulatory and bank standards.
Manage routine operational activities in the branch, including cash handling, document verification, and account servicing.
Support the account opening process — verify KYC documents, ensure compliance with internal policies.
Handle customer service requests such as passbook updates, cheque book issuance, demand drafts, fixed deposits, etc.
Maintain and reconcile branch records, reports, registers, and files as per bank policy.
Ensure proper record-keeping of inward and outward documents.
Assist in vault operations and ATM cash loading/reconciliation (if applicable).
Coordinate with internal departments (like credit, compliance, audit, IT) for smooth functioning.
Monitor branch-level compliance and ensure adherence to RBI and internal guidelines.
Help in onboarding new customers through accurate documentation and orientation.
Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, or service requests, and escalate when necessary.
Support sales teams administratively by preparing required documentation and reports.
Ensure daily closure activities (like EOD reports, cash balancing, etc.) are completed on time.
Education: Minimum HSC (12th pass); preferred: Graduate (any stream).
Experience: 0–3 years in banking operations or financial services. Freshers may apply.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience in using core banking systems is a plus.
Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, accuracy, time management, and ability to follow processes.
