Back Office Executive / Back Office Staff / Operations Executive
Role Purpose
To handle documentation, data entry, verification, and operational support tasks that ensure smooth banking processes without direct customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Data entry and updating of customer details in core banking systems (CBS).
Checking and verifying KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, loan papers, and account opening forms.
Processing transactions, fund transfers, clearing, and settlements.
Preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports for internal use.
Coordinating with front office / branch staff for error rectification or missing documents.
Maintaining records, filing, and safe custody of sensitive banking documents.
Ensuring compliance with RBI and Axis Bank’s internal audit / risk guidelines.
Reconciling accounts, preparing statements, and supporting finance/operations teams.
Assisting branch operations officer / manager in day-to-day tasks.
