Job Description

1️⃣ Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for all Airtel products (prepaid, postpaid, broadband, DTH, and Airtel Payments Bank).

  • Drive revenue growth and ensure market share expansion in the assigned territory.

  • Implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and new product launches effectively.

  • Track daily and weekly sales reports to monitor performance.


🔹 2️⃣ Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives / Territory Sales Officers.

  • Assign sales targets, monitor progress, and ensure performance standards are met.

  • Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

  • Promote a strong sales culture focused on achievement and customer satisfaction.


🔹 3️⃣ Channel & Distribution Management

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of distributors, retailers, and channel partners.

  • Ensure product availability, stock management, and distribution efficiency.

  • Manage channel partners’ profitability and resolve their operational or payment issues.

  • Expand channel reach by onboarding new distributors or retail outlets.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  • Suggest new strategies for product placement, pricing, and promotions.

  • Understand customer preferences and adjust local sales strategies accordingly.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for brand visibility and local activations.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction at the retail and distributor level.
