Job Description

1️⃣ Sales Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement area sales strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for prepaid, postpaid, broadband, DTH, and enterprise products.

  • Ensure effective product placement and availability across all retail and distribution channels.

2️⃣ Team Management

  • Supervise and motivate Territory Sales Managers / Field Executives.

  • Assign sales targets, track performance, and provide regular feedback.

  • Conduct sales meetings, training sessions, and skill enhancement programs.

3️⃣ Channel Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and business partners.

  • Ensure proper stock availability and timely product delivery.

  • Handle distributor claims, incentives, and sales commissions.

4️⃣ Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned area.

  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest pricing or promotional strategies.

  • Launch new Airtel products or offers in coordination with the marketing team.

5️⃣ Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle key client issues.

  • Conduct customer visits to understand satisfaction levels and service quality.

6️⃣ Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

  • Analyze sales data, market share, and customer trends.

  • Report area performance and suggest improvements to the Regional Sales Manager.
