Job Description

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales targets for all Airtel products and services — prepaid, postpaid, broadband, DTH, and enterprise solutions.

  • Plan and execute area-specific sales strategies to maximize market penetration.

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to ensure achievement of business goals.


2️⃣ Channel & Distribution Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.

  • Ensure product availability, stock management, and timely delivery across retail points.

  • Implement trade schemes, promotional activities, and channel incentive programs.

  • Review distributor performance and ensure adherence to company policies.


3️⃣ Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead a team of Territory Sales Managers, Field Sales Executives, and Customer Relationship Officers.

  • Train and motivate the team to achieve targets and improve productivity.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and field visits.

  • Build a high-performing and customer-focused sales culture.


4️⃣ Market Development & Competitor Analysis

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop the market in underperforming areas.

  • Study competitor products, pricing, and activities to create effective counter-strategies.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to support management decisions.
