Job Description

From the job advert, these are the tasks (KRAs) the person is expected to do: Adzuna

  1. Identify basic needs of community

    • Doing baseline surveys, FGDs (Focus Group Discussions), village meetings/workshops.

  2. Programme formulation

    • Relate area’s needs with business objectives, prepare budgets.

  3. Implementation strategy

    • Monitor via village volunteers, performance indicators, review meetings.

  4. Economic & watershed development

    • Identify self employment trades, provide tools/training, support SHGs (Self-Help Groups), develop farm ponds, water harvesting, etc.

  5. Education & Capacity Building

    • Scholarships, support to schools, awareness/training modules for villagers/teachers etc.

  6. Health & Family Welfare

    • Organize health camps, safe drinking water, monitor family welfare centres etc.

  7. Infrastructure Development

    • Liaise with government programs (ex: Indira Awaas, Nirmal Awaas etc.), build/repair roads, community centres etc.
